Currently, it is possible to receive notifications via phone calls. However, only a fixed cell phone number or email address can be used for this purpose.
This is impractical, especially with an on-call service that changes weekly. In our case, calls are forwarded to an employee named "On-Call Service," but the person responsible changes regularly. This means that the stored cell phone number or email address would have to be manually adjusted in the task each time so that the notification reaches the right person.
It would therefore make sense to be able to select an employee directly as the notification recipient instead of a fixed phone number or email address. The notification would then be sent automatically to the contact details stored in the employee profile.
The advantage:
If the on-call service changes, only the responsible employee would need to be updated in the system. It would no longer be necessary to adjust the notification settings.
